NEW IN: SHOES

So, when I hear Sale I just push myself into a store, specially if it's a Shoe store. Some days ago I was with my Mom and we saw this new shoe store in a super nice location here in this city, so we decided to go there and for our surprise the the whole store was on sale. LUCKY! Got myself a pair of this Camel peep toe that I saw a week ago (when no sale was on the go) and they were costing R$300 and now I got them for almost half the price! I usually just use these kind of shoes when I go out, and no not in clubs, just in a place where I can sit and relax after a while. And they're so awesome that sometimes I get all cringy when I have to use them because I want no dirty on them, fml, hahaha.

This Black one is one of my favorites because it's a basic color but it definetly gives a whole new level to an outifit. An comfy look can get a bit more urban if you use them and etc. As I'm more relaxing and watching movies in my laptop while eating ice-cream, yeah, I didn't use them yet. Shame on me, hahaha. Both shoes are from Arezzo (http://www.arezzo.com.br/), a highly know label here in Brazil, and both are made with this suede material.

Anyway, I hope you guys are doing great, and thanks for all the coments!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oh Well, first post of 2012! Hoe didi you guys spend your new year's eve? Mine was pretty chill. I spend some time with my parents then went out with some friends. I didn't even remember taking pictures to show you, but I think it's ok.

My Christmas was interesting though, it's been some years that my parents and I didn't spend it with more people. So it was nice to go to my Dad's friend's house to celebrate it. Funny thing is that the 24th was my Dad's friend's dad birthday!
Here are some pictures (none of them are edited) I took while going there and of the birthday (yeah, I like blurry pictures):

São João De Meriti

Hi guys, I took too long to write this post. I am SO sorry. I'm already living in Rio for almost a week now. Thing's been great. Later I'll talk about this. Today, I'm going to talk about this part of Rio that people don't visit that much when they're here. It's not a 'pretty' part, so it makes sense.

I'm talking about one county that is part of the 'Baixada Fluminense' (that's how it's called a few counties that are near the Capital of the State Of Rio De Janeiro), this part of the State is far from the turistic spots like Copacabana, Ipanema, Botafogo, etc (that are IN the Capital). It's inhabited by people from a lower social class. However, it's pretty big (I circuled the are I'm more familiar with) as you can see in the map below:

I lived my childhood in São João de Meriti. From the ones circuled in the map, I can say that from the ones in there, the one I lived is a pretty bad one. I mean, it's near the Shopping Mall, but if some day you come to Rio you're going to see something very interesting. The 'Favelas' that are those huge comunities situated on these mountais slopes or even in the middle of the city coexits with the high class neighborhoods (of course, some don't coexist, but you can see this fact in a big part of the State).

I took some pictures from my way back to São João, mainly from 'Estrada Das Pedrinhas' (that I can translate too 'Road of the Little Stone' in a very rough translation it looks like this and this, that is located in the Venda Velha neighborhood). It's called like these because this principal road in there is covered with stones.

There was this very stylish old man in the bus as I getting my way in there. I tried to take a picture of him, but I wasn't that much successful. I hope you enjoy the pictures. And i'm so sorry for taking this long to update in here. I'm not going to do that anymore.

Almost 18

Hi, guys! How have you been doing? I found a job, actually, I'm working with my mom. So that's why I'm not posting this much.

Anyway, tomorrow is my birthday. I'll be 18. Now I can actually learn how to drive, go to dance clubs, drink and all that. The bad thing is that I'm not learning how to drive, because I won't have a car when I go to Rio, I'll just use the subway and sometimes the bus.

Today I went to my english course, the wheather is a bit cold and chilly, so I decided to use a sweater, jeans and a flat. I normally don't use 'stylish' clothes to go to places like school or things like that. I think is a bit too much. I'm not doing anything that important there to dress up a little bit more. So it's a really basic look.

As you'll see, I changed my nail polish, now it's a sparkly yellow.

BUH!

Hope you have a great week!

MC Donald's

Yesterday I went out with a friends of mine. We didn't do much, just ate some things and talked about everything and nothing at all. If that makes any sense to you.
I didn't take a fool outfit picture. But here you can see at least what I wore in the top, a simple Jeans Shit.
I'm busy looking for a job these days, so I don't now if I'll post much this week. I'll make an effort anyway.
Excuse my nails in these pictures, I know I need to paint them agay, I need to find time though.
Take care!

Ignore my expression, here you can see my white ring properly.
Cute kid pouting at the right side. I use these rings that are on my left hand everyday.
